Rev. Robert Lee Bennight (Pastor Lee) and Rev. Kathryn Whitney (Pastor Kathy)
Rev. Robert Lee Bennight (Pastor Lee) and Rev. Kathryn Whitney (Pastor Kathy) serve as a clergy couple for Disciples of the Plains. While both are called to serve the whole parish, Pastor Lee primarily ministers to Emmanuel and Zion while Pastor Kathy primarily ministers to St. John and American.Pastor Kathy graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in 1999. Pastor Lee graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary in 2003.Pastor Kathy and Pastor Lee have been married since 1998. They have one son, Benjamin, who is currently a freshman in college.
